Intimate TX Hill Country Engagement | Nathan & Alexa

Nathan and Alexa's engagement photos took place a bit down the road from Uvalde, TX quite literally ON the Nueces River. It was stunning, to say the least, even in a Texas winter.
When Nathan initially reached inquired, he began walking me through his plan for how he had planned to propose to Alexa. Honestly, I was impressed! He knew she would love to have an engagement photographer there so we chatted through some details, and figured out a plan. I got to know their beautiful story and a few intentional photography details we definitely needed to work into their engagement photos - including some incredible moments playing in the river, just wait till you see!!
Here's some backstory - thank you for asking ;) - from Nathan!
"We met about a year and a half ago. We both went to Trinity University in San Antonio where we were friends of friends, but never met in college. Alexa was working at Trinity University when I had an article about me, and that was how we connected! I chose this spot on the river because this particular river crossing is special to Alexa and her family. She grew up nearby, so her family came here often while she was growing up."
Tubing, playing in the river, high school photoshoots are just a few of the memories Alexa shared with me throughout our time together there! I absolutely loved getting to hear this couples story and all the sweet (and funny) memories associated with this river crossing that is forever marked by their love.
