THE HEIRLOOM EXPERIENCE
your photographs were made to become part of your home.
Your photographs begin as a way to remember this season.
With time, they become something more.
The baby in your arms becomes the child turning these pages. The toddler beside you becomes an adult showing them to children of their own. And photographs that once simply documented your everyday life become a record of where your family began.
That's why the Lauren Kay's Photography experience doesn't end with a digital gallery.
Together, we'll turn the people you love into heirloom albums and fine art designed to be held, displayed, and passed down.

Your photographs become more valuable as the people in them change.
Right now, these photographs are new.
You remember exactly how your baby felt in your arms. You know the sound of your toddler's voice and the funny little expression they make when they're trying not to laugh.
But the years have a way of making ordinary details harder to remember.
That's when photographs become something different.
An album isn't simply a collection of your favorite images from a portrait session. It becomes a place your family can return to.
A child can pull it from the shelf and ask you to tell them about when they were little.
Years later, they can place it in the hands of their own children.
I believe the most meaningful photographs deserve to exist somewhere more permanent than a screen.
The LKP Heirloom Album
MADE FOR LITTLE HANDS NOW & GENERATIONS OF THEM LATER.
The LKP Heirloom Album is the centerpiece of the artwork experience.
Each album is thoughtfully designed around your photographs and handcrafted with beautiful, lasting materials chosen to age gracefully alongside your family.
Rather than filling pages with as many photographs as possible, I design each spread with intention, giving your images room to breathe and allowing the story of your session to unfold naturally from page to page.
Your album can be personalized through carefully selected materials and finishing details so it feels at home among the things your family already treasures.
And you don't have to design a single page yourself.
Complimentary album design is included for every LKP client who chooses an heirloom album.
YOU LIVE THE STORY.
I'LL DESIGN THE ALBUM.
Choosing dozens of photographs, arranging them into spreads, deciding which images belong together, and designing an album is exactly the kind of project that's easy to promise yourself you'll get to later. Especially with a new baby or little children at home. So I don't ask you to.
After your gallery is delivered, I'll create the first design of your album using the photographs that tell your family's story most beautifully.
You'll have the opportunity to review your design, choose your favorites, add additional pages if you'd like, and personalize the materials and details of your finished album.
I'll take care of the design. You simply decide which version feels most like your family.
BEAUTIFUL MATERIALS. TIMELESS BY DESIGN.
I don't want your album to feel trendy today and dated ten years from now. The materials offered through Lauren Kay's Photography are intentionally selected for their beauty, texture, longevity, and ability to live naturally within your home.
Choose from a curated collection of refined cover materials and finishing options to create an album that feels distinctly yours.Soft linen. Rich leather. Beautifully printed pages. Subtle personalization.
The details are meant to complement your photographs rather than compete with them.
Because the goal isn't to create something that looks new forever. It's to create something that becomes more meaningful as it ages.
MADE TO BE TOUCHED.
Your album isn't too precious to use.
Quite the opposite.
I want your children to pull it from the shelf. I want tiny fingerprints on the cover because someone wanted to see the baby pictures again. I want you to sit beside your child and tell them who they were, what they loved, and how impossibly small they once felt in your arms.
And years from now, I want those same pages to remind you of details you didn't realize you had begun to forget.
An heirloom becomes an heirloom because a family lives with it.

FINE ART FOR THE HOME WHERE THEY'RE GROWING UP

Some photographs belong in an album.
Others deserve to become part of the rooms where your family is building its life.
Custom framed artwork transforms your favorite photographs into finished pieces designed to feel intentional within your home.
I'll help you choose images, sizing, and artwork that complement your space so you aren't left staring at a gallery wondering what size frame belongs over the sofa.
Whether you choose one statement portrait or a collection that grows alongside your family, the goal is the same:
To surround your children with visible reminders that they belong here. That they have always been loved here.
And that their story is worth putting on the walls.
FROM PORTRAIT SESSION TO
FAMILY HEIRLOOM

ONE SESSION OR A STORY TOLD OVER TIME.
LKP Portrait Collections
Some families come to me because there is one particular chapter they never want to forget.
Others know from the beginning that one session won't be enough.
LKP Portrait Collections allow us to thoughtfully photograph multiple seasons of your family's story and preserve them through cohesive heirloom artwork.

LEGACY | one chapter
One portrait session paired with artwork designed to preserve this particular season of your family.
FAMILY | two chapters

MILESTONE | three chapters

Your photographs don't have to tell your family's entire story at once.
They can grow alongside you.
ON THE JOURNAL ~ the art of preserving your family
SOMEDAY, THESE WON'T JUST BE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS.
They'll belong to your children, too.
They'll see how small they once were.
How young you looked.
The home where they grew up.
The way you held them.
And the unmistakable evidence that, long before they could remember any of it themselves, they were deeply loved.
Let's make them something they can hold onto.
