None of it feels particularly extraordinary on a Tuesday afternoon. Until one day, they stop doing it.
As a mother myself, this is what makes family photography feel so important to me. I don't just want you to remember what your children looked like.
I want you to remember the weight of them in your arms. The way your oldest could make everyone laugh. The little hand that always found yours. The way your partner looked at your children. And the version of you who was right there in the middle of it all. Your family session doesn't need perfect behavior or children who smile on command.

01 | BEFORE YOUR SESSION
We plan everything together.
Once your family session is reserved, we'll start by talking about your family and what you want this season to feel like in photographs.
I'll help you choose a location that fits your family, whether that means an evening outdoors somewhere your children can explore, a quiet morning at home, or a simple studio setting.
We'll also plan everyone's wardrobe together. You'll receive personalized styling guidance and access to the LKP Client Closet, so you don't have to order twelve outfits and hope something works.
By the time your session arrives, the decisions have already been made.
02 | DURING YOUR SESSION
Your children don't need to perform for me.
Family sessions typically last between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours, giving us enough time to let everyone settle in without rushing your children through a checklist of photographs.
I'll gently guide your family when you need direction, but there will also be plenty of room to play, explore, cuddle, move, and simply be together.
If your toddler needs a break, we'll take one.If your children want to run, we can run.
If someone needs Mama, that's not an interruption to the photographs. That's part of the story.
We'll make the photographs your grandparents expect for the frame, too. But the heart of your gallery will be the relationships happening in between.
03 | AFTER YOUR SESSION
Give these years somewhere to live.
Within four weeks, you'll receive your finished online gallery with 55+ professionally edited, high-resolution photographs.
You'll have the digital files to save and share, but your photographs don't have to stop there.
I'll also help you turn your favorites into an heirloom album or framed artwork for your home through complimentary album design and personalized artwork guidance.
