Bottle up the magic of your motherhood this summer and document loving on your babies in Comfort, Texas. If you've ever been to Joshua Springs Park & Preserve, you know the beautiful views are endless. This year's motherhood mini sessions are being offered in the summer since I have been on maternity leave most of the spring! I am so excited for the fun summer vibes that a 90's butter mom theme brings. My desire for these mini-sessions is for you to get to dress up, feel fun & pretty, and document playing, snuggling, & loving on your babies while they're this little! Shorts & boots, overalls, primary colors, quilts, books, and a lovely field with a wooden fence - the dream!
Why Choose Morning Motherhood Mini Sessions This Summer?
As we all know, Texas heat ain't no joke! These morning mini sessions will wrap up around 10:30, just in time for us to escape to the A/C! The mornings in Joshua Springs are so peaceful. There's a playground near where we'll be shooting, so it may be fun to meet up with some friends here or let the kiddos get their wiggles out before the drive home! Morning light has a softness that enhances natural colors and textures, creating photos that feel warm and inviting. Early hours provide flattering light that highlights your best features and the beauty of the surroundings.
Our mini session spot is right next to a little gazebo where there will be space for families to get situated before their session begins. These sessions last 15 minutes, giving you plenty of time to snuggle up and play with your babies, enjoy the moment, and get a lovely variety of shots before the kiddos lose interest!
What to Expect During Your Session
I will be set-up in a shady patch of grass along a beautiful wooden fence with a quilt and a few little activites for your babes to play with you! These mini sessions are truly about about documenting your connection with your babies in this season. They grow and change each year! It's criminal how much changes, but it's beautiful all the more!
During the session, you can expect:
Personalized attention to ensure your comfort and confidence
Guidance on poses that feel natural and flattering
A relaxed atmosphere that encourages genuine smiles and expressions, trust me, I'll be on the ground playing with your babes if needed to get those natural, genuine smiles to come out!
Variety in shots, including candid moments and posed portraits
I encourage you to bring along props or outfits that reflect your personality and style and that fit the theme - 90's butter mom. Light, breathable clothing in soft summer colors works best to complement the morning light., but I also encourage you to opt for denim shorts & boots, overalls, primary colors or neutrals with a pop of color!
