This one is huge!! And completely leads the decision making process for what to wear for newborn portraits. When you picture these photos... are they comfy and lived in? Soft and dreamy? Elegant and peaceful? Also, how do you want to feel when being photographed? You may also consider the time of day we're taking photos together. A late morning newborn photography session may influence your decision about getting glammed up compared to an early evening one. There's no right or wrong way to go about it, but each family has their own style and persona.
