In-home always has been and always will be my favorite place to photograph your growing family. From your blooming belly to your wrinkly, fresh newborn... I swoon over documenting your motherhood in your safe place! Your home speaks volumes to this season of life. It's where you and your husband wake up on Saturday morning, maybe to a pup who's patiently waiting for a little one's arrival with you, or maybe it's pancakes and bacon (and coffee) with littles who woke you up at the crack of dawn (like they always do). I'm here for it all!

I'd love to share a recent San Antonio Medical Center in-home newborn session from some first-time parents just down the road in San Antonio. Jaimie sent me an inquiry as first-time parents who both work in the medical center. They couldn't wait to welcome their gorgeous boy home and asked me to photograph their newborn season in the apartment! Your home doesn't need to be picture-perfect for photos. In fact, please don't try to make it picture-perfect! That's the magic of this season, and my magic behind the camera is capturing it exactly how you want to remember it.

Your home is the perfect place for newborn portraits because, let's be honest, getting out of the house with a newborn is just not ideal! Your postpartum body is weak & wobbly, even though you're gaining strength every day! Your body did something incredible and this season deserves to be honored with rest & nourishment! Sometimes mamas are worried about their home not being decorated perfectly or being messy. This comes with the territory, and I promise there are spaces in your home that are photo-worthy, and your photos will turn out beautiful.
